Daman Club - Privacy Policy
Read the Daman Club privacy policy: what information we collect, how we use and protect it, your data-protection rights, and how to contact us with any privacy questions.
Information we collect
Personal identification data
When you register for or use Daman Club, we collect information that identifies you as an individual, including your full name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number. Where required for age verification or KYC compliance under applicable Indian law, we may also collect government-issued identification details such as your Aadhaar number, PAN card, or passport number. Submission of this data is a prerequisite for accessing certain features of the platform at damanclubapp.in.net.
Account and transactional data
We collect data related to your Daman Club account activity, including login credentials stored in encrypted form, deposit and withdrawal records, transaction history, game participation records, and account balance information. Financial transaction details may include payment-instrument identifiers associated with services such as PhonePe, Google Pay (GPay), BHIM UPI, Paytm, or linked bank accounts. This data is necessary to operate your account, process payments, and fulfil our contractual obligations to you.
Device and technical data
When you access our platform, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages visited, and session duration. This information is gathered through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies and is used for platform security, fraud detection, and performance optimisation.
Communications data
If you contact our support team or respond to surveys and promotions, we retain records of that correspondence, including email content, chat transcripts, and any attachments provided. Sensitive personal data, including financial instrument details, is collected only with your explicit consent and is handled in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
How we use your information
Account management and service delivery
We use the information we collect primarily to create and manage your Daman Club account, authenticate your identity at login, process deposits and withdrawals through payment partners including PhonePe, GPay, and BHIM UPI, and deliver the gaming services you request. Without this processing, we cannot fulfil the contract between Daman Club and you as a registered user.
Legal compliance and fraud prevention
We are required by Indian law, including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and applicable IT regulations, to verify user identities, monitor transactions for suspicious activity, and retain certain records for statutory periods. We use your personal and transactional data to comply with these obligations, respond to lawful requests from regulatory or law-enforcement authorities, and protect the platform and its users from fraud, cheating, or abuse.
Communications and personalisation
With your consent, we may use your contact details to send you promotional offers, bonus notifications, and platform updates via email, SMS, or push notification. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by updating your preferences in your account settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message we send. We also use aggregated, anonymised data to analyse usage patterns, improve platform performance, and develop new features, this analysis does not identify you individually.
Your rights
Access, correction, and deletion
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data Daman Club holds about you, to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, and to request deletion of your data where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it. Requests for access or correction can be submitted through your account dashboard or by contacting our privacy team. We will respond within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request.
Consent withdrawal and data portability
Where processing is based on your consent, for example, marketing communications or the use of optional cookies, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also request that we provide your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible, consistent with rights emerging under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) as it comes into force.
Grievance redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address privacy-related complaints from users in India. If you believe your data rights have been violated, you may raise a formal grievance with our Grievance Officer, who is obligated to acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt.
